Description
The Protec L226SP is a leather valve guard for trumpet with six attachment points. As a result, it protects not only the valves, but also the leadpipe, bell pipe and third valve slide. The leather exterior gives a firm, comfortable grip. The soft lining on the inside blocks moisture, skin oil and acids. According to Protec, the L226SP fits most Bb and C trumpets. If you only want to protect the valve block, there is the simpler L226. The L226SP is suitable for trumpet players who play a lot and want to protect their instrument as fully as possible against hand sweat.
