Description
The Protec L226 is a leather valve guard for trumpet. You wrap it around the valve block, where your left hand holds the trumpet, and fasten it with hook and loop. The leather exterior gives a firm, comfortable grip. The soft lining on the inside blocks moisture, skin oil and acids, so they do not damage the lacquer or silver plating of your valves. According to Protec, the L226 fits most Bb and C trumpets. If you also want to protect the leadpipe, bell pipe and third valve slide, choose the L226SP. The L226 is suitable for trumpet players who want to protect the finish of their valve block and get a better grip.
