Description

The Wittner 811M is a classic pyramid metronome from the Maelzel series 800/810, with a solid wood housing in mahogany colour and a silk-matt finish. It measures approx. 22 x 10.5 x 10.5 cm. You wind the clockwork with the key and use the weight on the pendulum to set a tempo from 40 to 208 beats per minute. This version has a bell that marks the first beat of the bar. You set the bell to 2, 3, 4 or 6 beats, or switch it off. The front cover is removable, and the metronome works without batteries. The 811M is suitable for musicians who also want to practise time signatures with a mechanical metronome. Without bell, this model is called the 801M.
