Description

The Wittner 801M is a mechanical pyramid metronome from the Maelzel series 800/810, with a solid wood housing in mahogany colour and a silk-matt finish. It measures approx. 22 x 10.5 x 10.5 cm. Once wound with the key, the metronome clicks the tempo you choose with the sliding weight on the pendulum, from 40 to 208 beats per minute. The swinging pendulum also shows the beat, which helps when you hear the click less well over your own playing. This version has no bell, so you only hear the even click. The 801M is suitable for musicians looking for a classic wooden metronome for home or the classroom. With bell, this model is called the 811M.
