The Greg Black F1 is a silver-plated bass tuba mouthpiece with a 32.65 mm cup diameter, a medium-deep cup shape and a medium-wide rim. The mouthpiece fits both F and Eb bass tubas and is available with either an American or European shank. Greg Black handcrafts his mouthpieces in North Carolina, continuing a tradition that traces its roots to the New York mouthpiece makers. The F1 responds easily throughout the entire dynamic range and is well suited to demanding solo performance as well as orchestral and ensemble playing. A serious choice for the advanced or professional tubist looking for a handmade mouthpiece with proven quality.
