Description

The Lidl LBB 684-4M Moldau is a 4/4 BBb bass tuba from the Czech maker Josef Lídl, developed to mark the 130th anniversary of the workshop. The Moldau series consists of three models, each with its own playing characteristics and tonal colour. The -4M version features a medium gold brass leadpipe, providing a quick and centred response, comfortable airflow and a full, resonant sound. The body is made of lacquered yellow brass, the valve section is fitted with four rotary valves with original Minibal linkages, and the outer slides, mouthpiece and leadpipe are made of nickel silver. Bore 21.2 mm, bell diameter 420 mm. Supplied with a silver-plated mouthpiece, polishing cloth and gig bag.
