Description
The Miraphone 496A Hagen is a B-flat bass tuba in 5/4 size, built for musicians seeking a typical German tuba sound character with balanced intonation and smooth response across the full register. The tuba features four rotary valves, a yellow brass body with a gold brass leadpipe, nickel silver valve section trim and a bell diameter of 450 mm. The 21.2 mm bore offers well-controlled airflow without the physical demands of a 6/4 bass tuba. This makes the 496A a widely used instrument in wind bands, symphony orchestras and music schools. Supplied with gigbag. Mouthpiece not included.
