Description
The Jupiter JTU 1140 is a 3/4 BBb bass tuba from the 1100 Performance Series by Jupiter. The instrument has a brass body with lacquer finish, four mechanical-link tapered rotary valves with open wrap design for a free-blowing and responsive playing experience, and a removable valve section for easy maintenance. The leadpipe is yellow brass and removable, the outer slides are nickel silver. The bore measures 16.8 mm and the bell diameter is 366 mm. The compact 3/4 size makes this model suitable for younger players and tuba players looking for a more manageable instrument. Supplied with original Jupiter mouthpiece and lightweight ABS case with aluminium frame and wheels.
