Description
The B&S GR51-L is a professional Bb bass tuba in 4/4 size, handcrafted in Germany and modelled on the tonal character of the classic Graslitz tubas. With a bore of 19 mm on the first three valves and 20 mm on the fourth, a brass body and a 450 mm bell, this tuba delivers a full, round bass tuba sound with a remarkably smooth response. The 3B ball-bearing linkage system provides a direct, even valve action that remains reliable even in fast passages. The gold brass leadpipe is corrosion-resistant and contributes to a centred tone. The instrument has a clear lacquer finish and comes with a gig bag.
