Description
The Besson BE794-2 is a Bb bass tuba from the International series, aimed at the advancing player who wants a fully compensating system without the weight of the Sovereign models. The four compensating valves (3+1 configuration) in stainless steel automatically correct intonation in the lower register, making the instrument suitable for wind band and chamber ensemble alike. The hand-made yellow brass bell has a diameter of 483 mm and a bore of 18.54 mm. The silver-plated finish distinguishes the BE794-2 from the lacquer version. The instrument is supplied with a gig bag.
