Description
The Vincent Bach Commercial L551 5S has a cup diameter of 16.25mm with a shallow cup and backbore #25. The shallow cup makes the high register more accessible than the deeper 5MV, while the open backbore #25 retains a clear, free-blowing tone. The medium-wide rim with a medium sharp inner edge gives precise control. This mouthpiece is suited to trumpet players in jazz and commercial work who regularly play in the high register, with a more accessible diameter than the 3S for players without an extremely strong embouchure. A versatile mouthpiece for big band work where flexibility in the upper register matters.
