Vincent Bach, Artisan A451 series, 1½C

Description

The Vincent Bach Artisan A451 1½C shares the same cup as the Classic 351 1½C: a 17.00mm cup diameter and a medium cup. The Artisan version has backbore #24 instead of the standard #10, giving the tone a darker, more symphonic character than the Classic version. The softer, wider rim contour gives more comfortable lip contact during extended playing. The Artisan series is a reinterpretation of early Bach New York designs from the 1920s, aimed at players who know the internal cup dimensions of the 351 series but want a warmer response. A mouthpiece for symphonic trumpet players who combine the large diameter of the 1½C with a fuller, darker tone colour.
