Description
The Vincent Bach 351 model 2 has a cup diameter of 16.50mm with a deep cup and backbore #10. The large cup produces a powerful, dark tone with great body and a Teutonic symphonic character. The medium-wide rim slopes toward the outside, providing firm lip contact. The deep cup demands more embouchure effort than a medium cup, but in return gives a fuller, richer sound with more depth than the model 2C. A mouthpiece for trumpet players with a well-developed embouchure who play in symphony orchestras and deliberately choose the darker, fuller tone of a deeper cup. Less suited to beginners.
