Description
The Schilke 14C2 is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 17.02mm, a standard C cup and a semi-rounded #2 rim. The #2 rim is rounder than the standard #3, providing more lip flexibility and a softer, more comfortable rim feel. Schilke describes the 14C2 as producing a rather large, full tone with a good centre. The 14C2 is the right choice when you want to play on the 14 diameter but prefer a rounder rim that allows more flexibility, for orchestral work, solo repertoire or playing styles where lip freedom and flexibility are the main requirements.
