Description
The Schilke 14B is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 17.02mm, the same as the 14, but with a medium-small B cup rather than the standard C cup. The B cup produces a slightly brighter, more compact tone than the standard 14, while the standard #3 rim and 'c' backbore remain the same. The 14B is the right choice when you want to play on the diameter and rim feel of the 14 but prefer a somewhat brighter, more focused tone quality than the standard C cup delivers. Well suited for ensemble work, wind band and commercial playing where tonal clarity is a priority.
