K&G 4,5A large

Description

The K&G 4.5A Large is a silver-plated mouthpiece for tenor trombone with a large bore, designed for the trombonist looking for the shallow A cup within the K&G range. The 25.90 mm cup diameter combined with the shallow cup produces a bright, compact and immediately responsive sound, with plenty of ease in the upper register. At K&G, this cup depth was developed for specific applications such as baroque repertoire and approaching an alto trombone timbre, with good support for high notes. The large bore suits trombonists already playing large bore mouthpieces who are looking for a more compact, brighter tone colour within that same range. This mouthpiece is a targeted choice for specialist playing situations, not for general orchestral use.
