Description
The Bruno Tilz 305-D2-1-extra is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the German Nea 305 series, built with a small bore suited to tenor trombone. Bruno Tilz hand-crafts this mouthpiece in Neustadt an der Aisch, and the Extra version carries slightly more mass than the standard model, giving a more core-centered sound. Players choose this mouthpiece over a standard 305-D2 when they want extra body in the tone without moving to a wider bore. The 25.00 mm cup diameter and 6.00 mm bore create a medium-shallow, focused sound that pairs well with a medium-wide rim. This trombone mouthpiece suits musicians in wind band and lighter symphonic settings looking for a familiar, centered response.
