Description
The Bruno Tilz 215 - 1 1/2G is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the Spezial Bruno Tilz 215 series, built with a large bore for bass trombone. Bruno Tilz hand-crafts this mouthpiece in Neustadt an der Aisch, and the 215 series is designed for the heavier, darker sound bass trombonists look for. Players choose this mouthpiece over a smaller bore when they need enough resistance and a full, deep low register. The 27.00 mm cup diameter and 7.20 mm bore pair with a deep cup and a medium-wide rim, giving a spacious, warm sound. This large-bore trombone mouthpiece suits wind band and symphonic settings where the bass trombone carries a supporting low voice.
