Description
The Bruno Tilz 214-D1-3 is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the Spezial Tilz series, built with a large bore (Schaft 3) that suits instruments with a wider receiver. The cup measures 24.50 mm in diameter with a medium-shallow cup depth, giving a direct response and a compact, clear sound. The 5.8 mm bore provides enough air volume without the resistance of a genuinely wide bore, which also makes this mouthpiece usable on baritone and tenor horn. For trombonists moving up from a smaller bore, it offers a step toward more body in the sound while the medium-shallow cup keeps articulation crisp. Hand-made by Bruno Tilz in Neustadt.
