The Kühnl & Hoyer 186 25 NZ, also known as the Orchestra Symphonic, is a professional bass trombone with K&H "open flow" Quart Valve and Quinte Valve, developed together with bass trombonists Jürgen Zellner and Benjamin Appel. The interchangeable gold brass bell has a generous 270 mm diameter and gives the bass trombone a warm sound that doesn't close up even at extreme volume. The open wrap design and open flow valves give an easy response and a larger tone volume across every register. The nickel silver slide is lightweight and fitted with an interchangeable brass lead pipe. The .563" bore (14.3 mm) gives enough body without losing directness. This bass trombone comes with a lacquered finish, including a mouthpiece. Case not included.
