Description
The Jupiter JTB 1180 is a bass trombone for the advancing player ready for an instrument with two independent valves. The brass bell measures 10 inches (254 mm) and, combined with the open wrap design, gives a deep, grounded sound suited to big band and brass band repertoire. The mechanically linked tapered valves respond quickly, letting you move easily between the high and low registers. The outer slide is nickel silver, and the inner slide is chrome-plated for smooth, durable action. The .562" bore gives enough body without sacrificing speed. This instrument comes with a lacquered finish, including an original Jupiter mouthpiece and case, and is a logical step for players moving from tenor to bass trombone.
