Description
The Courtois 502B is a professional bass trombone with an independent Quart Valve and Quinte Valve, both standard rotor, and an open wrap for even airflow throughout the register. The one-piece brass bell measures 9.5 inches and is hand-hammered, giving the instrument a full, grounded bass trombone sound. The .563" bore provides enough resistance for control in the low register without closing off the tone. The outer slide is brass and lightweight, while the inner slide is hard-chrome-plated nickel silver for smooth, durable movement. This new bass trombone comes with a lacquered finish, including mouthpiece and case, and suits players in symphonic or concert band settings looking for a reliable instrument with standard valve technology.
