Description
The Conn 62HCL is a professional bass trombone from the Conn Symphony series, built as an in-line independent double-rotor system in Bb/F/Gb. Instead of standard rotors, the quarter and fifth valves use the CL2000 valve, developed with solo trombonist Christian Lindberg. This valve type has a shorter throw and considerably less resistance than a traditional rotor valve, making quick shifts to the F/Gb side easier. The red copper bell delivers a warm, full tone, and the red copper outer slide with nickel silver inner slide gives smooth, fast action. This bass trombone suits the professional musician looking for maximum playability in the low register. Includes mouthpiece and case.
