Marigaux M2

Description

The Marigaux M2 is the flagship model in the Marigaux range and the result of many years of research, incorporating several international design patents. The body is made from grenadilla wood and features silver-plated keywork. The M2 is equipped with a semi-automatic system, including a third octave key and an adjustable left-hand F key. Its most distinctive feature is the interchangeable upper joint: the instrument is supplied with two upper joints of different lengths, allowing the player to fine-tune pitch, tonal colour and blowing resistance. Thanks to the extended centre joint, Marigaux was able to optimise the position of the keywork, improving intonation in the middle and upper registers while reducing the risk of cracking. The result is the deep, warm sound that has become the Marigaux signature, combined with stable response and excellent projection throughout the range. The instrument is supplied with a case and case cover. For the professional oboist and soloist, the M2 is an outstanding choice in the top professional segment.
