Description
The Marigaux 901 is the best-known model in Marigaux's professional 900 series and is played by orchestral musicians around the world. The body is made from carefully selected grenadilla wood that has been seasoned for at least four years, while the keywork is silver-plated. The semi-automatic system with a third octave key and F key provides a direct, even response in the upper register, while the double vent on the bell improves the intonation of the lower register. This combination makes the 901 particularly well suited to orchestral performance, where consistency and a warm, rich tone are essential. The instrument is supplied with a case and case cover.
