Description

The Lorée Royal GR+3 is the fully automatic version of one of the most renowned models in the Lorée range. Since 1989, it has been crafted from carefully selected grenadilla wood with an exceptionally uniform grain. Unlike the semi-automatic version, the fully automatic octave mechanism changes between the octave keys automatically, providing exceptionally smooth register transitions without requiring manual operation by the player. The thicker body walls produce the dark, rounded tone that is characteristic of the Royal model. The silver-plated keywork features a full conservatoire system with all trill keys, a third octave key, a left-hand F key and a forked F resonance key. The Royal is fitted with an adjustable thumb rest. An adjustment screw for the middle C key provides additional precision in tone colour and intonation, while double metal reinforcements at the joints enhance structural stability.
