The Lorée cE+3, the Étoile model, is a professional oboe featuring a newly designed bore that requires less physical effort to play while maintaining a full, rich tone, particularly in the second octave. The body is made from grenadilla wood and the keys are silver-plated. The full conservatoire system with plateau keys includes all trill keys, a third octave key, a forked F resonance key and a left-hand F key. In addition, the adjustment screw for the C key allows for precise fine-tuning of tone colour and intonation. Lorée developed this model specifically for oboists who play on European reeds.
