The Thore TZ-0012-3 is a professional English horn crafted from selected grenadilla wood, featuring a semi-automatic conservatoire system, silver-plated nickel silver keywork, a third octave key, a double octave mechanism and an F lever. The bore has been developed specifically for this model, while the keywork closely matches that of the Thore oboe, making the transition between the two instruments particularly smooth. The instrument produces a warm tone with excellent projection and features finely finished keywork. An accessible choice for both advanced oboists and ambitious amateur players.
