Monnig 180AM

Description

The Mönnig 180AM is a professional soloist English horn from Markneukirchen, developed in collaboration with Albrecht Mayer, principal oboist of the Berliner Philharmoniker. The instrument is intended for oboists who regularly switch between oboe and English horn. The body has a new shape made from long-matured grenadilla wood, the keywork is silver-plated nickel silver with gold-plated rings, posts and octave keys. The system includes semi-automatic octave keys, a third octave key, double octave key, forked-F mechanism, F and Eb levers, Ab/Bb, D#/E, C/C# and C/D trills, G#/F# and B/C# connections, and a resonance key on the bell. Supplied with two gold-plated bocals, a leather case and padded cover.
