The Gebrüder Mönnig 180 is a professional orchestral English horn from Markneukirchen, designed for players seeking a warm, focused tone in an orchestral setting. The body is crafted from grenadilla wood and fitted with silver-plated keywork, featuring a double octave mechanism, a third octave key, forked F mechanism, left-hand F key and a resonance key on the bell. The instrument is equipped with all trill keys, including A?/B?, D?/E, C/C? and C/D, complemented by G?/F? and B/C? linkages. It is supplied with two silver-plated bocals and a leather case with a padded cover. A solid, thoughtfully designed instrument for the professional orchestral English horn player.
