Description

The Marigaux 912 is the fully automatic oboe d'amore from the French maker Marigaux, which has been building oboes in Paris since 1935. The oboe d'amore is pitched a minor third below the standard oboe and is renowned for its warm, rounded tone. The body is crafted from grenadilla wood that has been seasoned for at least four years. The silver-plated nickel silver keywork features a fully automatic octave mechanism, a third octave key and an F lever.
