Description
The BG A31-TC is a microfibre pull-through swab for the horn leadpipe. On a horn, most moisture and saliva end up in the leadpipe, right after the mouthpiece. The cord contains a metal weight, so it drops easily through the long, narrow leadpipe. You then pull the swab through the tube in one motion, and the microfibre absorbs the moisture. You wash it in a laundry bag in the washing machine, and according to BG it lasts more than five years. Do this after every session, so saliva residue has no chance to form deposits. The A31-TC is suitable for horn players who want to keep their leadpipe dry and clean after playing.
