The Evans Genera HD Dry Series snaredrum heads feature dubbel ply heads. The outer layer is 5mil en the inner layer is 7.5mil, in combination with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside of the head, which elimnates excessive overtones and controls the sustain. The small dry vents on the edge of the head reduce the overtones and control sustain.
