The Evans Genera Dry Series snaredrum heads feature single ply heads, which have a layer of 10mil in combination with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside of the head. This control ring eliminates excessive overtones and controls the sustain of the head. The small dry vents on the edge of the head reduce the overtones and control sustain.
