The Zildjian A0801R is a complete cymbal set from the A Zildjian series, put together for drummers playing rock-oriented styles. The set includes a 14" Mastersound hi-hat, 17" and 19" Medium Thin Crash cymbals, and a 20" Ping Ride, made from Zildjian's cast bronze alloy. The hi-hat delivers a tight, direct character with a pronounced "chick", the Medium Thin Crashes respond quickly with a full, cutting attack, and the Ping Ride offers clear stick definition with enough wash to project above a drum kit. This cymbal set suits the intermediate to advanced drummer who wants a rock-oriented cymbal combination in one purchase, without assembling individual cymbals.
