Description
The Sabian S5005G Stratus Promotional Set is a complete cymbal set for the modern drummer looking for a bright, warm tone without going straight for the more expensive series. The set consists of 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash, an 18" crash and a 20" ride, all made from B20 bronze alloy with the characteristic Stratus hammering technique. The hi-hats combine a medium-light top cymbal with a medium-heavy bottom cymbal, giving a clear attack with a warm, semi-dark spread. The 16" and 18" crash are quick and controlled, with an explosive attack and a lower tone that decays fast. The 20" ride has an articulate ping with a warm undertone and a clear bell that still cuts through at full band volume. This cymbal set suits drummers considering their first professional upgrade.
