Description
This Meinl HCS141620 is a complete cymbal set for the drummer who is just starting out. The set includes a 14" hi-hat, a 16" crash, and a 20" ride from the HCS series, made from MS63 alloy (approximately 63% copper, 37% zinc). This alloy gives the cymbals a warm, harmonic character with a moderately bright tone and a medium-low pitch. The volume sits at a medium to low level, and the sustain is medium to short, making this set pleasant for practicing at home without the sound taking over. The traditional finish and factory-matched set make this a logical first cymbal set for those looking for a reliable foundation for rock and pop.
