Description
The Meinl Byzance Vintage Sand BV-141820SA is a cymbal set developed in close collaboration with Benny Greb, designed for drummers looking for a dark, dry and vintage cymbal sound. The set consists of a 14" Sand Hi-hat, an 18" Sand Thin Crash and a 20" Sand Ride, all hand-hammered from B20 bronze (approximately 80% copper, 20% tin) and finished with a sandblasted surface. This process results in a low pitch, a medium to low volume and a short sustain, making the set well suited to pop, fusion, jazz, funk and studio work. For advanced and professional drummers seeking the signature Byzance Vintage sound, this matched cymbal set offers a compact and direct introduction to the Byzance Vintage line.
