The Meinl A-CS7 Byzance Artist's Choice is a cymbal set put together by drum artist Thomas Lang himself, aimed at drummers looking for a well-balanced set of cymbals for rock, pop, R&B, fusion and funk. The set includes the 14" Byzance Fast Hi-hat and the 21" Byzance Flex Ride, both in Thomas Lang's signature version, together with an 18" Byzance Polyphonic Crash. All cymbals are made from B20 bronze alloy and hand hammered in Turkey, giving a mid-bright timbre with medium to long sustain. The hi-hat delivers sharp articulation, the crash a full wash and the ride a versatile, layered sound, together forming a cymbal set that completes a full drum kit in one go.
