Description
The Istanbul Mehmet SUL-SET is a three-piece cymbal set from the Sultan series, comprising a 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride. The Sultan series combines the sound character of the Traditional series with the dry, woody tone of the Turk series. A defining construction feature is the partially unlathed top: both the cup and a concentric circle on the bow are left unlathed, reducing overtones and drying the sound. The bottom is completely unlathed. The result is a mellow, soft tone with great stick definition and controlled overtones. The set is handcrafted from B20 bronze in Istanbul and comes with a cymbal bag with room for an extra pair of drumsticks.
