Meinl AC-6CRASHER

Description

The Meinl AC-6CRASHER is a 6"/6" Crasher Hats from the Artist Concept Model line, developed together with Benny Greb for drummers looking for a short, dry, sharp effect sound. This crasher hi-hat consists of four stacked cymbals with different profiles that collide with each other on every hit, producing a short, direct sound without long ring. Thanks to the thin build and the bronze alloy, the AC-6CRASHER sounds high, cutting, and relatively low in volume, with a mid-bright timbre that blends well with ghost notes and subtle rhythmic accents. Thanks to its compact 6" size, this crasher hi-hat is a targeted addition to an existing drum kit for drummers looking to expand their sound palette within genres such as jazz, R&B, funk, and studio work.
