Description
The Zildjian K1436 is a 15" K Fat Hat hi-hat from the K Zildjian series, made from B20 bronze and born from a blend of dark and bright hammering techniques. The top cymbal is thin, the bottom cymbal medium-weight, with a smaller weight difference than classic hi-hats, blurring the line between top and bottom. This gives a versatile hi-hat sound that combines warmth with clarity, suited to both studio and live settings. The wider lathing, inspired by the A Zildjian line, gives this hi-hat a more open, fuller voice than a traditional K, while the dark hammering keeps the depth the K series is known for. A choice for the drummer who wants one hi-hat that fits nearly any style, from jazz to rock, without compromising on articulation or chick sound.
