Description

The Zildjian K0943 is a 14" hi-hat from the K Custom series, built for drummers who want a warm, colourful tone with plenty of articulation. This Dark version has a full sound with short sustain and a clean stick response, allowing for a subtle, nuanced playing style. On closing, the hi-hat produces a clear, cutting "chick" that comes through without sounding aggressive. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy with a medium thin top cymbal and a medium bottom cymbal, combining warmth with enough definition. These qualities make the hi-hat suited to modern jazz, studio work, country and medium rock, wherever a nuanced yet present hi-hat sound is called for.
