Description

The Zildjian K0909 is a 14" hi-hat from the K series, built for drummers who want a deep, dark and warm tone combined with a direct chick response. This Mastersound version has a hammered bottom cymbal that lets air escape quickly, producing a fast, clean and clear "chick" on closing. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy with a medium top cymbal and a medium heavy bottom cymbal, combining the characteristic low, warm K sound with the directness of the Mastersound design. Because the hi-hat offers both warmth and a fast chick sound, it works across several musical styles, from jazz to rock, wherever a dark but responsive hi-hat is called for.
