Description
The Zildjian K0812 is a 14" hi-hat from the K series, developed as a lighter version of the classic K hi-hat, in response to drummers who wanted the same dark tone in a thinner, more delicate build. This K Light features a medium thin top cymbal and a medium bottom cymbal, giving it a dark, slightly delicate character with a limited blend of overtones. Despite the lighter weight, the hi-hat retains a solid, low-pitched "chick" and performs well across a range of playing situations. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy, and this combination of warmth and lightness makes the hi-hat broadly usable, including in rock, pop, country and jazz.
