The Meinl Generation X Series FX has a fast, sharp and almost sinister sound. Quieter than most china’s, they have a short sustain due to the waved edge. The cymbal is made out of FX9, an alloy with approximately 69% copper, 15% zinc, 15% manganese, and 1% aluminium.
