Description
The Protec A240 is a case for bassoon bocals, measuring 28.6 x 17.8 x 3.2 cm with room for four bocals. A bocal is thin and bends or dents easily, and even a small deformation can change the sound and intonation of your bassoon. In this case the bocals are held in place with elastic bands. A soft velvet lining and a padded, removable divider prevent them from touching each other. The exterior is made of water-resistant ballistic nylon, with reinforced front and back covers. This way you take several bocals to rehearsals and concerts and choose on the spot which suits the hall or repertoire best. The A240 is suitable for bassoonists who want to carry several bocals safely.
Explore our complete range of bassoon cases and bags from leading brands such as BAM, Marcus Bonna and Protec, from lightweight gig bags to robust hard cases for safe transport and reliable protection of your instrument.
