Protec A252

Description

The Protec A252 is a reed case for up to eight oboe reeds. The hard clamshell is transparent, so you can see at a glance which reed you are taking. Padded dividers keep each reed separate and hold it in place. The soft lining protects the delicate tip of your reed. The reeds tilt out, so you can remove them without touching the tip. The case is built to let air reach your reeds. A spring-loaded closure keeps the lid firmly shut in your case or bag. The reed case measures 10.8 x 10.2 x 1.5 cm and weighs 60 grams. According to Protec, it also holds English horn reeds. This reed case is suitable for oboists who rotate between several reeds.
