Description
The Protec A251 is a reed case for up to ten alto or tenor saxophone reeds. Each reed sits in its own numbered slot, so you can keep track of which reed you play when. The reeds rest on a flat surface, which helps prevent warping. The case is built to let air reach your reeds. The hard clamshell is light and sturdy, and a spring-loaded closure keeps it firmly shut in your case or bag. This way you can safely take a supply of reeds to rehearsals or concerts. The reed case measures 10.8 x 10.2 x 1.5 cm and weighs about 85 grams. Protec makes a similar reed case for clarinet (A250). This reed case is suitable for saxophonists who rotate between several reeds.
Explore our complete range of reed holders and reed cases from leading brands such as Vandoren, D’Addario, Protec and Rigotti, for safely storing reeds for various wind instruments.
