The Prins Bernhard Culture Fund provides financial support to musical ensembles, among others, in order to help preserve Dutch cultural heritage.
Contribution to refurbishment costs
The Prins Bernhard Culture Fund provides financial support to music groups, provided certain conditions are met. Adams (the world's largest producer of timpani and marimbas) would like to inform you that it is officially recognized by the Fund as a qualified expert to refurbish the following instruments: bass/bass tuba, timpani, (bass) marimba, oboe, alto oboe, bass clarinet, bass trombone, contrabassoon, baritone saxophone.
Guidelines
The Prins Bernhard Culture Fund uses both general and specific guidelines to evaluate applications. All requests are assessed based on these criteria. These guidelines are compiled in the official guide and can be read in the document richtlijnen.pdf.
Additional provisions
The Limburg department of the Prins Bernhard Culture Fund has additional requirements. If your request meets the general guidelines and the additional regional provisions, your application may be accepted. You can find the application form via the top menu on this page.
Music ensembles
For requests regarding uniforms and instruments, the Prins Bernhard Culture Fund Limburg applies specific limits valid for a period of three years. For uniforms, a maximum of 20% of the submitted costs may be granted, up to €2,800. For instruments, a maximum of 25% may be granted, with a limit of €3,900.
You may apply for a contribution to the refurbishment costs of a limited list of instruments, including: oboe, alto oboe, bass clarinet, bass trombone, bass/bass tuba, timpani, (bass) marimba, contrabass, contrabassoon, and baritone saxophone. To be eligible, the refurbishment must be carried out by a certified expert. The maximum contribution of €3,900 per three years and the 25% cost limit remain applicable.
Instruments/uniforms
Instruments and/or uniforms are not eligible for funding if they were ordered or purchased before a decision on the application was made.
